Here is some visual ideas for my chosen film: Alice in Wonderland in the style of Saul Bass, which is the graphic designer we are focusing on in this project. Saul Bass's style is simple and he uses geometric shapes. Bass focuses on hand drawing so I have chosen to mainly draw by hand for this project. Bass started off doing film posters such as the ones below and then he went into film work - creating opening titles for films such as The Incredible's. Bass captures the mood of the film with simple shapes and images. His unique style is recognizable and memorable.
